The high quality finishes and outstanding consistency of powder coating performance achieved by our paint shop is the result of the Kanban Sheet Metal policy of investing in modern equipment and skilled personnel.

The finest powder coating finishes are achieved by means of electrostatic application incorporating a two booth system, to allow for quick changeovers between whites and colours. As many as five colour changes in a day present no problems for us.

Our modern powder coating plant includes an electronic temperature-controlled gas-fired recirculation stoving oven capable of handling anything up to 3m x 1.4m x 0.7m. There is also an in-house three-stage phosphorous wash degreasing and preparation facility to maximise the quality, durability and corrosion-resistance of our work.

We can spray any type of paint – with virtually limitless colour options – from metallics, gloss and semi-gloss to textured formulations. Kanban’s expertise also extends to highly specialised applications ranging from infra-red anti-radar paint used for field chests supplied to the MoD for use in battle zones, to anti-bacterial paint used for radiator covers supplied to the NHS to help in the war against hospital-acquired infections such as MRSA.
